The “B.” symbolize’s the three partners’ names: Chef John Beriker, his brother Timur Beriker, Justine Beriker, and their father Kerman Beriker. The menu features fresh local produce, skillfully prepared in an open kitchen, with a flavorfully light touch. The wine list includes a great selection, but emphasizing “easily justifiable” great wines paired with fresh, light cuisine. A full premium bar including 10 draft beers is still the centerpiece of the restaurant, but refinished and illuminated. In addition, Ketchum’s most popular outdoor dining-cocktailing deck with a full bar, 2 fire-pits and the best view in town.
Chef John Beriker
Award winning international chef, John Beriker, most recently Executive Chef at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, near San Diego, is also a cookbook author and member of the highly respected Chaine des Rotisseurs, the internationally renowned gastronomic society founded in Paris in 1248 AD. John received his on-the-line training in the kitchens of various five star restaurants, before landing a life-altering job at the right hand of, Wolfgang Puck, of Spago in Beverly Hills, who became his mentor. His Spago experience prepared him to become Executive Chef at Raffles, in Singapore, (named “Best Chef in Singapore” by the Ministry of Tourism). His informal afternoon cooking demonstrations and wine parings have earned him a loyal following everywhere he’s been. After Singapore he joined the Four Seasons Hotel in Hamburg, (where he was named “Best New Chef of the Year” by Gault Millau) then on to the Merchant Court Hotel in Sydney, and Auberge Dab in Bankok, before joining his father, Kerman Beriker—by then Managing Director of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe—as Executive Chef.
Timur Beriker : General Manager
16-year Wood River Valley resident, father of three, and husband of Justine Beriker. Timur is best known locally as “the mac computer guy” and founder of weknowcomputers, in Ketchum, which was awarded “Best of the Valley” 5 years in a row. Few here know of his years of successful hotel and restaurant experience. His last venture with his brothers was their restaurant Rustica in Beverly Hills, CA. In addition, Timur held various positions in the hotel’s and restaurants in Beverly Hill’s with over 10 years experience serving the front and back of the house.
Has enjoyed a legendary hospitality career of his own. Legendary hotelier, Kerman has managed dozens of luxury hotels and resorts in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the States, including, Rosewood Hotels (Vice President of Operations), (The Mansion at Turtle Creek in Dallas) and the Four Seasons in Toronto, as well as the Five Star Hotel Bel-Air, and The Beverly Hills Hotel, both of which earned their fifth stars under his highly personalized management style. As CEO and managing director of the Beverly Hills Hotel for ten years, Kerman presided over a $140-million renovation by the Sultan of Brunei, before accepting a more relaxed position in Rancho Santa Fe, a move which he intended as a graceful segue into comfortable retirement, but ended up lasting eight years, until the property was recently sold. That event created an opportunity for this “family reunion” at the corner of Sun Valley Road and Main Street in Ketchum, and relocations to the Valley.
B. Restaurant & Bar, will provide an opportunity for Timur, Justine, John, and their Father, Kerman Beriker to share their combined hospitality experience with each other, and the community.
